100+ years

1910-2010
The 1st Towcester Scout Group has proudly celebrated 100

years of Scouting in the Towcester area.  This is no mean achievement.  From its early beginnings

Towcester Scouts has kept to the core values of scouting.

Today... the Group is still very much thriving, consisting as it does of two scout troops (Centurions and Crusaders), two cub packs (Lions and Panthers) and now, two beaver colonies (Americans and Canadians). In total the Group has over 100 members.

In the Autumn of 2013 we achieved a long held ambition of opening a second Beaver colony and  although our leadership team has expanded in recent years additional adults are always needed to assist with this expansion. Adults can get as much out of Scouting as our young people do.

"Would you be willing to help us as we take the Group into our second century?  All of our sections have experienced Leaders so you would not be left to go it alone in helping to provide the programme the youngsters deserve.  All you need is an interest in young people and a sense of fun.

If you are a parent or carer reading this you are obviously interested in what we do and we appreciate your support.  Why not talk to me or one of the leaders about how you can help, either as a member of the Executive or with the Beavers, Cubs or Scouts.

Join with us in the fun of Everyday Adventure."
